Flannel Flowers of Hope

Inspired by my personal experience of the Blue Mountains following the 2019 bush fires, where new life emerged from the ash-covered land. The flannel flowers felt like a symbol of hope as these pink and white flowers, also known as bushfire ephemerals, germinate after fire. I painted this landscape in acrylics on stretched canvas.
